How to Answer Tell Me About Yourself  Question in Job Interview.

1introduce yourself by telling them about your personal information or personal data as written on your CV.

2. tell them your academic information also as written on your CV.

3. thirdly inform them of your basic skills/potentials as written on your CV.

4. inform them how these skills/potentials of yours can be useful in this position and organisation you intend to work in general. Remember the more your relevant skills/potentials are, the more the chances of getting the job. For instance an applicant seeking for the position of an engineer, if during interview the person demonstrates more additional skills in health and safety which is related and highly needed in execution of engineering projects, he or she could be considered better than the person who only expresses skills only in engineering field. This is also advantageous because he can cover up the position of health and safety engineer in event of annual leave, vacation or as the case may be. Every organization wants to cut cost.

5. tell them that you can work with others ( working in a team/being a team player) and also working with people of diverse culture and religion.

6. let them know at this point that you are willing to stay if employed. This is why they might asked you of how much you want to be paid as salary. It should be noted especially for fresh graduates who may undergo basic training before the real job that some organizations do not like to spend money just after training, you quick the their job.An example is that if you tell them that " i want to be valuable part of this company in years to come",  or i want to ensure that my career growth is enhanced in this company".  These are the statements that shows that you are willing to stay.

7. always end this type of interview question with statement of this nature " i believe i am a goal oriented person" or i am an achiever" or i am a spirit driven person at work without or less supervision"

Take Note of These during this question:
- look at all members of the panel during the time that you are talking to them.
- be bold enough as this shows your confident and competency.
- be concise and go straight to the point.
- let your face generally look brighter during the interview.
- remember to end your statement with "thank you" after the last step ( line number 7) above.

Good Luck!
